In Liu Nuoyan's heart, she had already regarded Gu Tingyan as her own person. Now, seeing Li Yan and Gu Tingyan so close, she felt that her own was being taken away.
Her eyes were wide open, as if they were about to spit fire.

Liu Nuoyan's voice was sharp and shrill, his finger pointing at Li Yan, his body trembling slightly with anger.

Liu Nuoyan was startled by Gu Tingyan's imposing aura, and she unconsciously took a small step back.

Gu Tingyan's eyes were filled with disgust, as if he were looking at a repulsive insect.
Liu Nuoyan was so humiliated by Gu Tingyan's words that he couldn't lift his head, his face turning bright red.
Her eyes were full of resentment as she glared fiercely at Li Yan.
"You just wait, I won't let this go."
Liu Nuoyan uttered harsh words, then turned and walked away quickly, his steps somewhat hurried.
Watching Liu Nuoyan's departing figure, Li Yan gently patted Gu Tingyan's shoulder.
"Ah Yan, you're quite the smooth talker. I'm starting to worry that you'll never find a wife."
Li Yan's voice carried a hint of teasing, and her eyes sparkled with laughter.
Gu Tingyan, however, looked like a wronged child. He turned his head and looked at Li Yan.
His eyes held a hint of innocence, mixed with worry: "Mom, I was just trying to protect you. How could I stand it when she said those things about you?"
Gu Tingyan's voice carried a hint of coquetry, like a child wanting praise.
Looking at Gu Tingyan, Li Yan felt a surge of warmth in her heart.
She reached out and patted Gu Tingyan's head: "Okay, I know you're doing this for my own good."
After the farce that just happened, Li Yan's good mood was completely ruined, and she no longer had the desire to continue shopping.
She went straight to the red dress, picked it up to check the size, and then said to the salesperson, "This is the one. Wrap it up."
Her voice was flat, lacking its previous cheerfulness.
Gu Tingyan stood to the side, glanced at Li Yan, and knew how she was feeling. He didn't say anything, but silently accompanied her to pay the bill, and then the two left the mall together.
When Gu Tingyu saw Li Yan return home, his eyes lit up immediately.
