Chapter 218 Mu Junze
Chapter 218 Mu Junze
Xi Yu walked straight into the shop, and as soon as the wind chimes on the door rang, Xi Hua looked over.
"Xiaoyu!" Xi Hua excitedly dropped the scissors in her hand and ran forward to hug her daughter whom she hadn't seen for several months.
Although she always told her not to worry and forbade her daughter to rush back, she actually missed Xi Yu terribly and wished she could fly to the capital to see her immediately.
"Mom, I'm back!" Xi Yu hugged her mother tightly around the waist and buried her head in her mother's warm embrace.
"It's good that you're back, it's good that you're back..." Xi Hua was reluctant to let go and secretly wiped away her tears.
"Boss! You're back!" Suddenly a loud voice shouted from the side. Xi Yu sighed and looked over, and sure enough, she saw the fat man with a look of surprise on his face.
The fat man changed the most; he lost most of his fat and gained a lot of muscle, but because of his large frame, he was still very big.
"Stop yelling, you're scaring Mr. Mu!" The black dog clicked its tongue and punched the fat man on the head.
The fat man nimbly dodged, then chuckled smugly, "Hehe, you'd better watch out in front of the boss, big brother, don't always bully us little guys!"
Xi Hua listened blankly as the fat man addressed Xi Yu, and couldn't help but tug at her daughter, asking in a low voice, "Sweetie, why does the fat man call you 'boss'?"
For a moment, everyone fell silent.
The fat man, looking like he'd gotten himself into trouble, grabbed his hair and quietly backed away, avoiding Xi Yu's gaze. They always avoided calling Xi Hua "boss," but the fat man had gotten too excited and hadn't been careful what he said.
Xi Yu gave him a subtle glare, then coughed and covered her lips with her hand, saying, "Actually, it's a nickname. We like to use nicknames to address each other."
"Ah, right, right, right! It's a nickname!" the fat man hurriedly echoed, looking quite lewd.
"Really?" Xi Hua was surprised. Being simple-minded, she didn't think much of it. Although she felt it wasn't very nice for a girl to be called "boss," she didn't really understand the things young people did.
Xi Hua absolutely trusts her daughter, so she can accept such a lame excuse, but everyone else knows it's impossible, such as Mr. Mu who has been silent all along.
He was looking at Xi Yu with a smile on his face, but he didn't seem to have any intention of exposing her.
"Mom, who is this uncle?" Xi Yu whispered in Xi Hua's ear.
The man was in his early forties, with a refined and gentle demeanor, and looked like a kind teacher.
"Ah, this is Mr. Mu, the son of Mr. Mu Yizhuo." Xi Hua pulled her along and introduced her to Mu Junze: "Mr. Mu, this is my daughter, Xi Yu."
"Hello, may I call you Xiaoyu?" Mu Junze asked gently, without sounding abrupt or rude.
“Of course, Uncle Mu.” Xi Yu smiled and replied. She couldn’t sense any malice from this man, so it seemed he wasn’t intentionally trying to get close to Xi Hua.
"Mr. Mu came to exchange flower-growing techniques, and he taught me a lot."
Xi Hua, Hei Quan, and the others explained, one after another, why Mu Junze was there.
It turned out that Mu Junze had been a regular customer of the shop for a month. Initially, he came to ask for advice on cultivating the Dream Orchid. Xi Hua, being a guest, couldn't very well turn him away. However, she couldn't really give any advice, so she could only apologize and refuse.
Mu Junze didn't mind at all, and even pointed out a few things that should be paid attention to when planting potted flowers in the store. His extensive knowledge of flower cultivation impressed Xi Hua, and she couldn't help but ask him a lot of questions.
Every few days, Mu Junze would come over to discuss flower-growing techniques with Xi Hua, exchanging experiences like friends.
