Yan San then took out an invitation letter and handed it to Xi Yu, his expression returning to its usual calm and collected state.
Xi Hua saw that Yan San was speaking very kindly, but his own daughter was just staring blankly without saying a word, letting Yan San hold the invitation letter but not reach out to take it.

"You should go help Mom too," Xi Yu said, shooing the black dog and the others away to avoid another argument.
Black Dog and the others left, looking back every few steps, leaving only Xi Yu and Yan San in the small living room.
Xi Yu sat down opposite him, sullenly, and raised her chin, snapping, "Speak! What is it?!"
Yan San picked up his teacup again, took a small sip, and said with a faint smile, "I'm sending you a notification letter."

"In front of you, I'm just a man who likes you," he said softly.
