Motorola shows it creativity by launching the new Motorola Flipout. This cellphone’s form is square at time the keypad is fold away. This gadget with QWERTY keypad, using Android power and has 3 megapixels camera is already in the market.

Advantages

Good thing is that virtual keyboard is present even though the actual keypad is folded. This will give options for users, whether they want to use the virtual or real keyboard. The screen can be used either is portrait of landscape position, this will make more comfort for users while they are looking at pictures or browsing internet or by the time users are going to type an email or message.

Taking picture with this cellphone will give an excellent result, because of that 3 megapixels camera with Kodak “Perfect Touch”. This ting can directly give effect to adjust the bright and contrast of color and lighting for images. In this Flipout there is a program to set whether those users will keep the picture with such effect or not.

This Flipout allows users to send their images to other contacts or to set image as the wallpaper. There is a tool that can use by customer to set the image, whether they want to crop it, or add with other effect such as panorama and zoom in or out.  It will help users to take that image for any purposes needed.

In this Flipout, users are able to play music by using that 3.5 mm audio jack. It is well known that cellphone powered by Android has the ability to produce great sound. This is making the more enjoy for the listener. Buttons to make the volume louder and softer is easy to use. This device can be combined with TuneWiki in order to feature the lyrics of the song that played, which will give more fun for users to karaoke. The lyrics are presented on the display; otherwise if users feel that this will only disturb the vision they can quit using this TuneWiki.

Disadvantages

Even though, virtual keyboard is present on display is to make users simpler to employ this gadget to type, but in other hand, this virtual keyboard actually demand much space on the display, and it just make the rest of display become more limited for presenting other features. This could make the vision to the screen become more narrow and higher the risk of typos and other errors. It will make discomfort.

Other discomfort thing is at time users simply want to make a phone call, they must scroll hundreds of numbers, email addresses, or Facebook accounts until they get the person that they want to call. This becomes not efficient and not effective. In fact, there is a tool that called Motoblur account to help users to keep telephone contacts, but still this program is not making is more easier for users.

Since the resolution in this device is not very high, this influence to the impression of images, web pages and the entire that needs to use pixel, which will seem not a precise impression of image. It will result a little blur and not very focus image.
