Give Review
The Electrovaya Scribbler SC3100 Tablet PC is a compact and lightweight Tablet PC. It’s boasts a new BOE Hydis display with a 180 degree viewing angle and a faster processor. The design is innovative hints of ingenious engineering in the mobile space. It’s also a practical Tablet PC. The Scribbler SC3100 case is plastic that feels so solid. The hardware buttons are easy to press. Although the snap on keyboard and touchpad are very slim, they hold up just fine when used on a flat surface. The design is different like other Tablet PC. The touchpad snaps into a designated space behind the keboard keys and the thin keyboard doubles as a protective cover for the display. (more…)
The Fujitsu LifeBook P1500 is an ultralight and ultra-portable Tablet PC with 2.2 pound featherweight, surprisingly usable keyboard, a clear 8.9″ touchscreen and battery life that hovers almost three hours. This is a notebook that delivers all the performance one would expect that has been miraculously engineered into a ever so slightly large PDA-sized device. The P1510D built is to handle the rigors of travel. The attractive silver casing feels light, but strong. The keyboard is firm and display is sturdy to the touch. The rotating hinge feels solid enough to endure long-term usage. The Fujitsu P1510D’s 8.9″ display with a 1024×600 pixel resolution is bright, but appears a bit washed out in contrast. The pixel flaw was an annoyance at the very least to a small dispalt size.
The Acer TravelMate C200 with sliding display mechanism is a convertible Tablet PC. There’s two type of C200. The C203ETCi is a great value for general tablet computing, with enough muscle to handle business applications and all common computing tasks. And the C204TMi with dedicated graphics, a Bluetooth radio and a 2GHz Pentium M processor. The Acer C200 casing feels solid with thick silver plastics and metal bracing for display. The design is so innovative. The sliding display is very cool. The display can slide upward into a very secure and steady locked position allow for writing surface in notebook mode. But that make the display is always exposed. So Acer includes a soft removable cover to protect the display. Another problematic designs are the lack of a palm rest or touchpad and the limited navigation options.
Toshiba Portege M400 is lightweight Tablet PC with dual core Processor. It also have biometric security, extended battery options and hard drive shock protection for travelling and outdoor activition. This Notebook is good quality with good sense for good user experience. The M400 case is so solid when closed. The swivel base is not sturdy, but still fine. The charcoal shell’s color is dark silver that makes nice impression. The best thing in M400 is there’s space between display and keyboard when it closed that avoid screen damage when it’s stuff into a tight bag. The notebook also not to noise. The fan sound is not too quiet but still in tolerance levels. The 12.1″ Portege M400 display is clear and bright. The display screen is not shiny, but is only slightly matte in finish which is a good compromise to cutting glare without distorting images underneath the glass. The display renders crisp text and bright although the resolution is limited to 1024×768.
