Motorola QIf you’re looking for a thin smartphone with nice QWERTY keyboard and low price offers, you should take a look at the Motorola Q. And it’s not just thin, with only 4.1 ounces, the Motorola Q is a lighter smartphone compare to other Windows Mobile 5 based smartphone. Motorola build this machine strong and smooth. The design is not exceptional, but with its size, the Q offers something different. The QWERTY keyboard is nice to use but its not too responsive. The keys must pressed firm or you’ll missed some letter when you writing a message or an email. But overall, the keyboard is good. On the back of this machine, there’s the integrated 1.3 megapixel digital camera, flash, speaker and battery compartement.

The Q powering by Intel PXA27x 312 MHz processor backed by 64 MB RAM and 128 MB Flash Memory. The processor performance, although not remarkable, still good for a smartphone. Its fast when open programs and files. The smartphone uses Windows Mobile 5 as its operating systems. Unfortunately, the OS is not a full version, its limited. But its still runs very well and reliably.

The screen is 2.4″ large with 320 x 240 pixels display, and its very bright and clear. Its little bit washed out when using outdoors, but still usable. The 1.3 pixels camera is a nice features addition from Motorola. Its easy to use, but its not amazing.

The Motorola Q communication is dual band, 800 and 1900 CDMA. Its works fast when surfing the web. The Q also come with bluetooth but does not offers Wi-Fi. And the Q also comes with very good quality sound from the speakers. Its loud and clear.
The Q’s battery life is very poor. Its a bad side from this phone. Its only 2 hours talk time. Motorola should do better next time.
