If you’re looking for a notebook with amazing screen and perfect keyoard, the Fujitsu LifeBook N6410 is a good chice. As an evolution from N6010, N6210 and N6220, the N6410 has well build quailty with very good design. It’s also nice looking with silver and black color, and it’s look smaller than it is cause the design of the casing. The layout of ports is fantastic too.
The N6410 uses 17″ screen with 1440×900 pixel native resolution. It’s perfect for gaming or watching DVD movies. The screen is amazing with good viewing angel. The only minor thing is there’s very slight light leakage on the right and left side of the screen.
As with its predecessor, the N6410’s keyboard is perfect. It have identical size and layout with stable keys. It’s also feel solid when type on it. And there’s almost no flex on the keyboard. This is the best keyboard I’ved ever felt. The touchpad is good also with nice button design and very nice surface. And like most touchpads today this one has the horizontal and vertical scrolling features.
The N6410’s speakers, not like other notebook, is very impressive. It can get quite loud and do not distort at the loudest setting. I like it very much. When watching movies or playing games, the sound is very adequate. So I don’t need some external speakers or headphone.
Powering the N6410 is Intel Core Duo 1.66 GHz with 1 GB DDR2 memory. The performance of this machine is fantastic. When I ran Super Pi, the N6410 manages 82 seconds. Another benchmark are : The 3DMark 05 results is 2273 3D Marks and PCMark05 score is 3487 PCMarks. It is a quite good.
The N6410 come with TV Tuner that’s work very well. It’s also have a remote control. And I always use it when watching DVD. It’s works very nice and easy to use. But I’m not to happy with the battery life. It’s only 1.5 hours with the TV tuner and 2hrs without it. But for this size of laptop, the battery life is decent and efficient.
Not like the N6010, the N6410’s fan is so quiet and does a good job so the notebook stays quite cool all the time. The palm rest is never getting warm. And when I playing games, the fan works well too. So I can say this machine is so quiet and cool. The noise from HDD is too low. It’s not a matter for me but some people maybe prefer to have it quite silent.
For 17″ notebook, the N6410 is very good. It have a great screen and perfect keyboard. The processor performance is also fantastics and this is a nice looking laptop. The minor things of this machine are no DVI port and it’s little heavy. The battery life is also not perfect. But overall this notebook is great.
