The Asus W3j is built as a highly upgraded refresh of the Asus W3v which is also maintains the sleek mobility of a 14″ widescreen and adds the mid-high graphics capabilities of the ATI X1600 video card. The Asus W3j design is absolutely wonderful build quality. It’s a combination of euphoric moaning and drool. The brushed aluminum lid is poetically elegant, and touchpad is gorgeous. The bamboo-style hinge maintains the curvaceous nature of the design like the fonts of the keyboard which are decidedly less angular than is typical. The notebook’s color give a great deal to the aesthetics of the W3j. The durability is also excellent. (more…)

Asus W3J Notebook
Give ReviewSony VAIO SZ280P/C Notebook
Give Review
The Sony VAIO SZ280P/C is an excellent machine. It’s a bit of a cross between an ultraportable and a thin-and-light notebook. It’s smaller and significantly lighter than most thin-and-lights while, but can easily match or exceed their power and feature set and slightly larger and heavier than most ultraportables, but far more powerful and feature rich. The design is excellent which is a very thin, slightly wedge shaped package with high quality materials. The carbon fiber case is very stylish and strong and pushing on and twisting the screen showed no evidence of distortion. The hinges seem small but sturdy. (more…)

The color is silver and the casing is made by hard plastic. The screen built is also very well with no ripples when push in the lid. The hinges is solid to. The A8Jm screen is a14.1 WXGA 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, with ASUS Colour Shine technology. There is quite a bit of glare on the screen when working in really bright areas. Lenovo ThinkPad Z61m Notebook
Give Review
The ThinkPad Z61m is the update to the newer widescreen Z series of ThinkPads with titanium cover. The Z series is the more multimedia oriented notebook with a widescreen display, built-in web cam, media card reader and FireWire connector. It also have an Intel’s latest and greatest CPU. The titanium lid cover of this laptop added some panache and toughness to the Z61m. And there’s no more fingerprints on titanium lid. The Z61m is still litlle heavy in comparison to other notebooks in its class. The Z61m is also fairly thick. The feel of Z61m is substansial. The inside of the Z61m is made from rugged and elegant plastic. The Z61m is unyielding, most likely due to its remarkably rigid roll cage. (more…)
Fujitsu LifeBook N3530 Notebook
Give Review
The Fujitsu LifeBook N3530 is a a mainstream 15.4″ widescreen notebook with a fantastic CrystalView displays and solid design. This notebook is constructed of very solid ABS plastic and magnesium alloy around the LCD. That make N3530 is to heavy. At that the screen displays no distortion or ripples whatsoever and the lid is very sturdy. The screen hinges are very solid and they may be considered a little too stiff when opening and closing the notebook. The design is pretty with a stylish silver and black color but still allows business-like. The semi-translucent keyboard looks adds another dash of style to N3530. On the top edge of the notebook, there is a rocker switch in the upper right corner that controls the volume and gives onscreen feedback as to the volume level. (more…)
